Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on August 19, 1965 is an American actress. Her most prominent character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The series ended following the seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her role in the show in the role of Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick received nominations for a Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are as well. Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who was an therapist for speech and family as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV Venture capitalist. Her birthplace was in New York City.
